The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 notes that a Principal Designer plans, manages and monitors the pre-construction phase and coordinates matters relating to health and safety during the pre-construction phase to ensure that, so far is reasonably practicable, the project is carried out without risks to health or safety.

At Stonehouse CDM we have the organisation capability to carry out the role and meet our obligations on each project by taking into account the general principles of prevention and the content of the:

  • Pre-construction Information pack;

  • Construction Phase Plan;

  • and Health and Safety File.

Our work focuses on ensuring that the design work in the pre-construction phase contributes to the delivery of positive Health and Safety outcomes.

If you need to appoint a Principal Designer why not send us a message today to see how we can help you at pre-construction phase.
